Vision

Lifting the individual learner to new heights.

It should be ongoing, collaborative, and natural. Sometimes we have barriers that cause frustration and decrease our desire to try. However, when one pivotal person enters the learner’s life, even the most complex tasks can seem manageable and possible. The learner starts to find themselves doing things they never imagined with an increased desire to learn returns. It takes just one right person.

Joe Dixon, Owner & BCBA

I have had the great privilege of working with individuals with learning differences and developmental delays since 2008 in both schools, home, and clinical settings. My goal is to help all individuals with whom I work learn how to learn more efficiently. Learning is a fascinating process that must be individualized with the proper support system and motivations in place. It’s a collaborative effort that, when done properly, lifts, inspires, and motivates the learner to try new things and conquer new tasks. Whether the learning is academic in nature or focused on saying one’s first words, it is important that all involved are in agreement and support the learner appropriately.
Becoming certified as a BCBA in 2013 was a stepping stone in helping me better understand how to teach and lift in an individualized and supportive manner. In utilizing principles of behavioral science, I have found that we can increase learning in a fun age-appropriate manner. When a learner is having fun, they learn more effectively with better results.
